Your GP surgery does not contain clinicians trained to deal with dental issues.
Antibiotics should not be used to treat dental pain unless advised and prescribed by a dentist as they risk masking an issue which can then get worse needing more invasive treatment down the line.
If you have dental/jaw pain which a dentist has seen and feels needs our input then you should request an appointment.
Non-urgent advice: Find an NHS Dentist
The Wessex Dental Advisory Service is a useful local resource for finding routine or emergency dental input.
Alternatively the NHS website has a page detailing how to find a dentist.
