CYP Crisis Line

The Hampshire & IOW Children & Young People’s Crisis Line is still available to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. 

CYP Crisis Line is open: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 3-8:30pm including bank holidays. 

For any young person 11-17 years old living within/residence of Hampshire County Council & Isle of Wight Council (excl. Portsmouth and Southampton)

CYP Crisis Line can provide: 

o    Immediate access to safe & confidential one to one emotional support via freephone  

o    Crisis de-escalation 

o    Self-harm/suicide safety planning 

o    Advice of healthy coping skills & resources such as CBT/DBT skills, mindfulness, relaxation, self-care, positive mental health 

o    Signposting for both young people & parents
